Do You Have Dresses To Donate?

Many girls dream of putting on a beautiful dress, going to the prom, spending time with friends, and sharing a dance with a special someone. But some girls lack the financial resources to make their prom night dreams a reality. The Metro St. Louis Cinderella Project gives deserving young ladies the opportunity to feel like a Princess for the night by providing the gift of a prom dress.

If you’d like to help make a difference in a young woman’s life, donate a dress! This is the perfect chance for you to breathe new life into the dresses you wore to dances in high school and college that are just sitting in your closet. Have a bridesmaid dress you don’t plan to wear again? Donate that too! The Project is looking for dry-cleaned long or short dresses in all styles, colors, and sizes. All proceeds benefit the Community Council of St. Charles County for family programs.

Visit Customer Service at Chesterfield Mall, Mid Rivers Mall, South County Center, or West County Center between now and February 28, 2013 to drop off your dresses. For more information, visit http://www.cinderellastl.homestead.com/.

High school juniors and seniors throughout the St. Louis area are referred to The Cinderella Project by their school counselors. From March 1 through March 8, 2013, the Cinderellas are treated to a private shopping experience to find their dream dress in the Cinderella Boutique, located at Mid Rivers Mall. Starting on March 9, 2013 or “Pink Saturday,” any young lady may visit the Boutique and purchase a short dress for $29 or a long gown for $39.

Clean out your closet tonight, and bring your dress donations to the mall this weekend!
